OUR STORY

Becky was born on a dairy farm in Derbyshire and grew up working on the family farm with her parents and sister.

Becky has shown calves and cows, at regional and national shows since she was 11 years old. It was on one such showing adventure at the Great Yorkshire, that she met Jim.

Jim and Becky married in 2008 and Becky moved to Yorkshire. Since then, she has worked as a Lecturer in Livestock Production at Bishop Burton College. Alongside this Becky has retained an interest in the dairy farm, purchasing a number of cows which are milked alongside Jim and his parents’ herd.

Recently, Becky has taken the decision to purchase a milk vending machine and set up a new business, Cherry View Farm Fresh Milk, allowing her to realise a dream of selling the fresh milk from her cows directly to the public.

OUR TEAM
Becky

Becky is the owner of Cherry View Milk and is really excited about this new venture. On the farm, Becky’s main role involves rearing the young calves and helping Jim with the day to day jobs.

Jim

Jim farms in partnership with his parents at Field House Farm. They have a herd of 150 pedigree cows which Jim milks twice a day every day. Jim is a keen judge of Jersey cows and has judged at the Royal Welsh Show and Balmoral in Northern Ireland.
